Airveda : Measuring Air Pollution
Airveda is an Air Quality awareness system measuring PM2.5 and PM10 values. The iOS / Android app is connected to personal as well as public monitoring devices.

SIX degrees of Air Pollution
The main aim for the apps was to simplify data interpretation and to make Air Quality information accessible to everyone, without much technical complication.
The first version of the app was made to just connect to one personal monitor and that became our home screen.
The six categories used, were as advised by the Central Pollution Control Board
As we moved to adding more devices, we explored using cards for each of them.
Personal and Public
Next, we introduced Stations, which were public monitors. So we created a card layout that would help distinguish the two.
Stations were laid out on map in a dedicated tab, for users to explore and then choose some as "My Stations" on their home screen.

Upon clicking a card, for a station or a monitor, you get to a details page where one can see more information, like shown below
